Big Dog Lamb Frozen Raw Dog Food
This protein is often referred to as a “cooling” meat – a reference to its anti-inflammatory capacities. Although it is a red meat, it does not have some of the properties of beef, which can promote inflammation.
Also, it is often described as pure, a reference to the fact that is has not been exposed to grain and the chemical toxins (grain-fed, antibiotics), because lambs are raised and fed on pastures.
Lamb is commonly known to have more fat in the meat, but like chicken, it also has higher levels of Omega 3 than other flavours. Hence, it also offers assistance in maintaining healthy coats and skin.
It is a super flavour for all stages of your pet’s life but if it is overweight, this might not be the one to start it on. However, after its weight has been reduced, we recommend you offer this protein.
