With the Covid-19 pandemic shutting borders and causing disruption to regular life as we have always known, the Nekojam team remains committed to ensuring the health and safety of our employees, customers and visitors. Here are some of the ways we are adjusting our operating policies to keep you safe during the Covid-19 outbreak.
Temporary Cessation of Order Pick-Ups
For safety reasons, we are temporarily not accepting local pick up orders. This will help keep our valued customers at home and prevent non-essential travel out and about Singapore.
50% Discount on Paid Shipping Fees
We’re reducing the cost of paid shipping for orders under $59 to $4, to help customers receive their orders safely in this time. To opt for this, please select “Paid Shipping” at the cart page!
Contactless Delivery Option for Orders
- Our driver will call you when he is at your doorstep. For orders delivered by our courier partner; J&T Express, you will receive a 4-digit OTP which should be provided to your delivery representative.
- Delivery representative will knock on the door and step back to a safe distance.
- Delivery representatives will place the order at your doorstep or at a safe place. A photo will be taken regardless of whether there is someone available to receive the order or not. This will temporarily replace the requirement for a written or digital signature.
Extended Delivery Fulfilment Time
As people rush to stock up on essential items, our store has been experiencing an unprecedented surge in demand in the last few months. We are doing our best to respond to every enquiry that we receive and working extra hard to push out deliveries at higher than regular capacity via our team of deliverymen and courier partners. With drivers being asked to clock more hours, and doing their 150% to get your pet supplies to you, we seek your kind understanding in this period that deliveries may take longer than our usual 1-3 working day timeframe to reach you.
Stock Shortage Advisory
With global shortages in raw materials and high demand in this time, many pet food companies are grappling with production issues, alongside lack of staff and operational inconveniences. Some brands are experiencing abrupted supply chain disruptions, and it would be advantageous to ensure your pets do not go hungry during the Covid-19 outbreak.
We recommend buffering a minimum of 1 month’s supply of your pet’s regular food and necessities.
Operating hours are otherwise as normal as our frontline team of staff, drivers and suppliers stay at the frontlines to ensure minimal disruption to business, ensuring that your pet supplies and essential products continue to be delivered. We are grateful for your patience during this challenging time. As the situation continues to evolve around the world, we will continue to keep tabs on the situation and update our policies accordingly in the interest of our team and customers.
